Charles (Chuck) Spencer is GROWMARK, Executive Director, Corporate and Government Relations. In this position, he is responsible for developing, leading and administering the government relations team that involves corporate legislative and regulatory activities and programs for the GROWMARK System.
Spencer serves on the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives (NCFC) Governmental Affairs Committee and is a past chairman. He also serves on federal and state affairs committees for the Ag Retailers Association, American Seed Trade Association, CropLife America, The Fertilizer Institute, Fertilizer Canada, and the Ontario Agribusiness Association. He served on a team that crafted and worked to pass the State of Illinois Livestock Management Facilities Act and the national Renewable Fuel Standard.
