Yanhong Li is the Organic Input Material Program supervisor for the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA)’s Fertilizing Materials Inspection Program. With over seven years fertilizing materials registration experience, she played a key role in leading the team to review and implement USDA-NOP (National Organic Program) standards. Before joining CDFA, Yanhong Li was a project scientist in the Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Davis, focusing on biological chemistry aspect studies. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biochemistry from Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a B.S. degree in Biochemistry. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, watching sports and spending time with her family.
