Aaron has been involved in agriculture his entire life, starting as child on his family’s dairy farm in Northern Jay County, IN. He spent the first several years of his career on the family farm before joining POET when the Portland plant was built in 2007. He has since worked in various grain roles at several different POET locations. Aaron is currently the Regional Marketing Manager in the Eastern Corn Belt, leading and providing support to the local grain teams at 9 POET facilities in the states of IN, OH, and MI who collectively procure nearly 300 million bushels of corn annually. Aaron has served on various boards in and around his community. He currently serves as an Ex Officio board member with Indiana Corn Marketing Council representing first purchasers across the state. Aaron holds a Business Management degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. He and his wife Kristina reside in Jay County, IN and have 2 children, Amarah and Karsen.
